Kudo Aero is a high-performance, half-shell cycling helmet engineered for disciplines where aerodynamic efficiency is paramount. Sharing much of its design with the Kudo, the Kudo Aero takes aerodynamics to a new level, making it an ideal choice for high-speed rides and races.
The Kudo Aero’s upper surface features a sleek, smooth shell that promotes optimal aero ventilation, reducing drag. Additionally, the tear-off rear spoiler delays airflow separation, further enhancing aerodynamic performance—a notable feature for a traditional half-shell helmet.
Despite its focus on aerodynamics, the Kudo Aero doesn’t compromise on comfort. Two front vents and rear heat extractors ensure efficient thermoregulation, keeping riders cool even during intense efforts. The helmet is certified to EU and CPSC standards, and its rounded shape is designed to reduce surface friction during impact, potentially attenuating force in the event of a fall.
The helmet’s crossbridge element, incorporated into the EPS foam, effectively distributes impact forces throughout the helmet for comprehensive protection. The MIPS Air Node system, seamlessly integrated into the padding, dissipates rotational forces in the event of an impact. This low-friction layer is lightweight, easy to clean, and offers advanced protection without compromising comfort.
The Kudo Aero features an advanced adjustment system with a micrometric dial on the occipital stabilizer for tilt adjustment and eyewear compatibility. A personalized crown adjustment allows riders to tailor the fit to the exact shape of their head, while lightweight ripstop webbing provides full adjustment around the ears.
